Overview
About Me
A global citizen, maneuvering his 20's, discovering the universe within and beyond himself. Generally, I'm inquisitive, argumentative, hopelessly optimistic.
Yes, I'm a geek, I'm turned on by my well-written code and experience a burst of endorphins when my code works ;) "Science if the poetry of reality" - wouldn't you agree?
The past 3-4 years have been transformative as I ventured out of my safe cacoon back home in Mumbai. It's one thing to talk about cosmopolitanism and egalitarianism, and another to meet people from literally every part of the world and from diverse social backgrounds. If anything, I've been humbled by the possibilities, challenges, and joy of the human experience.
I'm generally soft-spoken and when presented with novelty, I display child-like enthusiasm.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is for me:
• A way to meet people from around the world
• A reason to visit new places
• An option to organize and attend events
Interests
I'm a big time foodie, my mum has trained my taste buds with the best food imaginable, if you want to eat real good food and share your appreciation for it, I'm your guy!
Astronomy, as a human I am in awe every time I witness a clear night sky. I love sky gazing and will soon be buying a bigger telescope, talk to me about cosmology and I'd be your fan, for life!
Technology, it inspires me each day, technology is human ingenuity in action, and recognize it or not, it is the single greatest impact we humans have on the universe. I support curiosity-based sciences and look-down upon technological development in pursuit of monetary greed.
Psychology; how the brain works and why we do the things we do, has been an intriguing concept for me, I wouldn't say I know much about psychology or human behavior but I'd surely keep informing myself about it in the future.
