Hi!
I'm Sara, a 22 years old Italian girl. I used to live in Cuneo, a small town in northwest Italy with my parents and my younger brother. Now I'm living in France, Paris, for my studies.
At the moment I'm a graduate student at Sciences Po Paris. I'm planning to start a career in higher education and academia.
I can speak Italian (my mother tongue), I have a very good level of English and French (C1 +) and I've just started studying Spanish (B1 level).
I'm a really enthusiastic person, I have plenty of hobbies and I always want to learn something new. I like reading, watching movies, cooking, and baking, ... I'm really extroverted and I love chatting a lot (sometimes too much).
I'm willing to help people in general and I'm involved in social work. For example, in the summer of 2019, I've been in London working for a charity association.
I can adapt myself everywhere, I'm not a picky eater and I can do every kind of task or housework. As you can see from the reviews on my profile, I won't be at your house to create you problems :))

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I really love traveling, not as a tourist, but to experience the life of a local person. I'm always keen on learning about new cultures, traditions, and foods, and I see my future life somewhere around the world. I also want to meet new people and have as many friends as possible everywhere.

Thanks to CouchSurfing, I had the possibility to meet amazing new people and visit the following places:
- Paris (hosted by four people)
- Warsaw
- Krakow
- Tucson
- Phoenix (hosted by three people).
In total, I completed 10 stays with Couchsurfing.

Being a broke student, my plans often change last minute. Please, don't get mad if I'm asking you to be flexible with me. If you don't want to host me after my change of plans, I totally get it. It is your right, but please be patient.

**Adding this last part following a bad experience I had with one host**
I DIDN'T join the CouchSurfing community to have sexual encounters, in any case. And no, I won't change my mind, in any case. None of my behaviors is going to be an invitation or a way of flirting. If these are your intentions, please do not contact me and go on a dating site, where you will probably find what you want.

Música, películas y libros

MUSIC:
I'm not really interested in music. I like Italian songwriters' music (my favorite one is Francesco Guccini), and I will be more than happy to introduce you to the genre. I also love ABBA and I know most of their songs by hearth - I sing them all the time under the shower.

FILM:
I like movies in general. I'm not an expert, but I enjoy classic movies. I do not like horror, splatter or gory stuff.

BOOKS:
I absolutely love reading! I like fiction, historic books, classic books, non-fiction...
One of my favorite writers is an Italian journalist, Oriana Fallaci. The best book I have ever read is "Calling me home" a love story against racial discrimination.
I'm also passionate in psychology and sociology and I've read a lot of books on those topics.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I survived for two years the climate of the North-Est of France... I don't recommend it to anyone who loves sun and hot weather (like me).

I walked the 800 kilometers of the "official" Camino de Santiago, from Saint-Jean-Pied-De-Port to Santiago de Compostela.

I went on a road trip through California.

I finished my graduation thesis, and this is probably my biggest accomplishment so far.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can cook very well, I will be pleased to contribute to the daily meals. I can also do many different tasks around the house, such as cleaning, gardening ...
I'm a quiet, cheerful, happy person. I'm clean, tidy and organized. I won't leave dirty dishes in your sink (however I may forget some clothes in the bathroom). You won't regret hosting me.
