About Me

Hey I’m currently travelling a bit through west Canada before I decide on where to base myself (from Australia originally). I’m keen to meet some hiking / travelling buddies and some locals who are happy to show me around! I love a good chat and exploring new places 🙂

I’ve done a bit of travel (mostly solo) but one of my favourite things about travelling is the interesting people you get to meet. Most of the time even though I’m travelling solo I’m very rarely alone. I’m a positive friendly person and love getting outdoors. Also I was lucky enough to do a wildlife conservation internship in Costa Rica (back in 2016) and absolutely fell in love with jungle life and basic/minimalist living. Plus the wildlife was insane!

My current goal this year is to minimise my plastic impact (which is really challenging while travelling) and I love hearing about innovative solutions that are coming into play across the world. I’ve started making my own “toothpowder” and even had some Kombucha brewing back in Aus.

I’m very much an animal person and I have acquired a few random animal fun facts and dabbled in bird watching too. I ditched my desk job back home to explore canada and get back to adventuring! Once I find a place I want to call home I’d love to meet some new friends. Hopefully by then I’ll have friendly faces to visit all over Canada!

Can’t wait to finally explore the couchsurfing side of travel 🙂
