About us:
I like to dance (salsa, bachata, kizomba) and ride motorbike, Leyla already rides her own motorbike. I am a vegetarian and like cooking, Leyla eats meat sometimes, but rarely.
In summer 2017 and 2021 I went on a trip through Switzerland, Italy and Corsica (France) with my motorbike and my daughter Leyla who was 6 and 10 years young. 2017 I had just finished my studies about interior architecture and then wanted to get some more practical experiences mainly in building or renovating houses. Just like the traditional "wandering carpenter" my dream was to be an interior architect on a motorbike tour :-D I already did some "wwoofing" in New Zealand during my "work & travel"-year in 2009-2010. In 2016 I stayed and worked on a finka (a farm on La Gomera Island) together with my daughter and I have to say it worked out so well! She was so happy and enjoyed just being in nature and that mum is always around. Futhermore, I have got some experience in renovating because my parents bought an old house which we renovated ourselves. I have also done gardening as i grew up on a bio-dynamic farm and during my stays on farms, while travelling, I got more experience with gardening. And of course I like kids and can deal and take care of them quite well.
My passion is to paint (acrylic paintings and wall paintings), riding and fixing motorbike and to travel, getting to know new people, other lifestyles and cultures. While travelling, Im really excited to see how other people are building their houses or cabins, for example for travellers to stay in.
I also try myself in gardening, wanting to create a self-sufficient community.
