I'm into photography, scrapbooking, baking, beach trips, live music, cardio kickboxing, & all kinds of outdoor adventures

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My music taste varies a lot, just like most people. Anything from indie to reggae to classic rock to blues to alternative rock to EDM.
A few random favorites would be Tom Petty, Jimi Hendrix, Joshua Radin, Lord Huron, The National, alt-J, Sublime, & Rolling Stones. I'm also a huge sucker for '90s music!
A few of my favorite movies are The Air I Breathe, Dirty Dancing, Comet, 500 Days of Summer, Elf, & Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
I love short stories & poems. My favorite book is "No One Belongs Here More Than You" by Miranda July.

I was a full-time traveling volunteer with AmeriCorps NCCC during most of 2011, and was privileged enough to have been able to learn about and participate in 3 different types of disaster relief: tornado, flood, & wildfire. This was some of the most difficult and most rewarding work I’ve ever done.
