About Me

My friends would say that I am open-minded and have a strong personality. I don't let people walk over me but i avoid unnecessary disaggreatments and drama.
I'm a good listener and easy-going girl who is interested to know what other people think. I'm not the kind of person who gets offended easily.
I can say that I am a little bit like a chameleon, my temperament will adapt itself depend on who I'm hanging with. It's very rare that i don't get along with someone.

I've always been a hard working person, but in my free time I enjoy to improvise and learn new things. I'm passionate by most things, very curious, enthusiastic and spontaneous.

I am certainly an independant person, but I still enjoy being with people and learning about them, but sometimes i need a little space.
I think it mostly depend on my connection with each person. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me Couchsurfing is an opportunity to meet locals or people that have been living in the country for a few years.
CS is all about sharring, spend time together, cook together, etc... It's not just offering a free place to live for a few days. Well, you can do it that way but it's not as fun as it could be.
So I could say that I'm on CS to spend time with amazing people.

Now that I'm not traveling anymore, I want to try CS as a host!
Note that I am working full time and living quite far from Montreal (45 min drive). One of my friend came to spend a couple weeks here and she managed to take the bus to go there and it wasn't that bad!
I could surely go to a few places with you on the weekends. :)
Canada is a little bit like Australia, if you want to see the good stuff, you need to travel a bit, it's not like europeans countries let's say!
I have a quite small appartment, no couch but I do have an inflatable matress that we can put in the living area.
What I expect from couchsurfers is to be respectful. I don't want to have to clean after people or be the only one paying for food if we share. :)

Interests

Younger I had a lot of things i liked to do ( and still like but don't take the time to do it) such as horse riding. I used to work on ranch and had my own horse for a few years.
I like to draw, to paint, to craft ( jewels, furniture, etc) and to take pictures. I would really like to improve my technic at taking pictures as well!
I enjoy reading and write. I often go in some quiet places and just live, focus on my respiration and meditate.

I also really enjoy hiking when the temperature is great. Kayaking is an outdoor activity that I do to have a good time during summer.
Seadoos, VVT, boat, and motocross are the kind of toys i like. :)

As I said before, I'm very curious and everytime I meet someone who is doing an interesting sport or activity , I really enjoy learning about it and try to do it. So if we ever meet, I'll be very happy if you introduce me to new activities!

When I'm with people I know I appreciate to party, but getting drunk every week is not my type. I'm still always keen to grab a drink without exageration. Moderation has a better taste! ;)
