Overview
About Me
I work as a Patent Illustrator. I enjoy a lot of things related to story telling, art, and physical activities. For fun fitness I jump between Lyra Hoop classes, Partner acro yoga, Pole fitness classes, and Rock Climbing. I've tried flying Trapeze, aerial silks, and Cyr Wheel.
When I'm in another place that isn't home, I like to have active, explorative days. I'm not much for relaxing by the beach or going out to clubs. I am also an early riser, so I tend to have a lot of quiet mornings or duck out early to avoid waking people. I do tend to go to bed earlier because of this.
I've visited a few other countries: Puerto Rico, Japan, Bermuda, Italy, and Ireland. Mostly with family over 10 years ago, so I don't have a lot of say in what we did. I did a ton in Puerto Rico because it was a vacation with friends close to my activity level. We rode horses, snorkeled, zip lines, and walked through the forests with locals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people who also like to travel, explore, try new things, and have an upbeat open mindset. I'd like to try traveling and making new friendships because it's so nice to share experiences. It's a little hard to try and make friends with random people out and about, but I found it was easier to talk to people on websites like Meetup.com because everyone goes to an event with the mindset of socializing and meeting people. So maybe traveling and using this website would help do the same.
I currently rent a room in a house, so I don't have the ability to have people stay with me.
