I am a geographer and data scientist, which means I use GIS (geographic information science/systems) to help people uncover patterns and gain insight into the relationship between location and... literally anything! I'm certain that one of the reasons I'm so passionate about travel is because my life-long study is dedicated to how place matters. When I'm not geeking out over maps, I'm reading, or long-distance walking, doing arts and crafts, playing the ukulele, playing strategy board games, or some other hobby that I will likely get bored of in 3 weeks.
