About Me
Hi there!
I'm Sarah. I am a geographer and data scientist, which means I use GIS (geographic information science/systems) to help people uncover patterns and gain insight into the relationship between location and... literally anything! I'm certain that one of the reasons I'm so passionate about travel is because my life-long study is dedicated to how place matters.
When I'm not geeking out over maps, I'm reading, or long-distance walking, doing arts and crafts, playing the ukulele, playing strategy board games, or some other hobby that I will likely get bored of in 3 weeks.
I'd love to meet you, exchange our languages, our food, and our stories!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I deeply believe in learning from each other, and there's no better way to do that than when travelling in a foreign place!
New perspectives are so refreshing, and having friends across the globe is such an enviable thing!
