ABOUT ME

Hi all, I'm Sarah and I'm 27...I'm an accountant but not your typical boring accountant!
I'm bubbly and outgoing and love socialising. In August I packed up my life, put tenants in my house, left behind my beautiful puppy and came to New York to live. So far it's been amazing, met a lot of great people and really enjoying the city. I'm friendly, often sarcastic and humorous, and a complete neat freak.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS about 6 months ago to try and make some contacts in New York. i've been to many CS meet up events since I got here and have met some friends for life. I don't currently have any space to host but when I am more settled and in a different apartment it might be possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A bit of a CS newbie, I havent hosted or surfed yet, but I've been to a lot of CS meet ups and met some great people.

Interests

Movies, going to restaurants/cafes with friends, hitting the gym, waterskiing, wakeboarding, going to pubs/clubs, reading and spending time with my Saint Bernard pup!

Favourite movie would have to be Titanic...sad I know!
I also love Bridesmaids, The Hangover, Wedding Crashers and almost all chick flicks :)

Love all sorts of music especially 80s.Have a complete obsession with One Direction. Varied taste in music including Journey, Beatles, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Backstreet Boys, NSync...

Really love to read, almost anything....just finished the Hunger Games trilogy and more recently The Help.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gradn Canyon at sunset was pretty amazing.
Snorkelling in Coral Bay, Western Australia.
Actually leaving my comfy life in Australia for the unknown of New York was pretty amazing too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to surf if there's an ocean nearby. I've also been playing the piano for 20 years so could teach you that!
