ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Sarah!
After spending 10 years living in Bordeaux and working as a teacher, I decided it was time for a new adventure. I did one-year Working Holiday in Australia. And now, I am in NZ. I traveled for a month in a van on the South Island, then I volunteered for a month at a meditation center north of Wellington. I’m currently in Auckland for two months; as teacher aid in international school.
I have always used couchsurfing as a traveler, and I am happy to finally be able to give back what I have experienced!
I love nature, hiking, meditation, yoga, discovering new things, and exchanging different perspectives on the world. I travel to meet people, question my certainties, and understand myself better.
I believe I have two main goals in life: to learn and to love. I try to create a life that feels meaningful, helping me grow and become a better version of myself. Meeting others along the way is one of the best parts of that journey!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To discover a place through the eyes of someone who loves it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Experience the little things as if they were big: watching a frog on a lily pad, laughing with those around me, wiping away a stranger's tear, contemplating flowing water... Look, listen, taste, smell, touch, hear.
Teach, Learn, Share
"Nul n'est si petit pour qu'il ne puisse transmettre, nul n'est si grand pour qu'il puisse être enseigné"
I have always wondered about the meaning of life and that is what I like to share to enrich myself with everyone.
