ABOUT ME
I love running, biking, rock climbing and marine biology. Currently, I am working as a marine science field instructor in Key Largo, FL. On July 4th, 2014 I will be leaving the US for the Philippines to serve as a Peace Corps Volunteer focused on Coastal Resource Management for the next two years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In December 2013, I biked 801 miles from Charleston, SC to Key Largo, FL to raise money for typhoon recovery in the Philippines. This bike ride was my first couch surfing experience. Now I need to return to my family's home in Pittsburgh, PA before I fly to the Philippines and am hoping to couch surf my way north from Florida.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed my way down to the Florida Keys and hosted two bikers at my apartment in Charleston. In the future I plan to offer my couch in the Philippines and hope some travelers looking for an off the guide book adventure may visit my small Filipino community.
