About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Is to TRAVEL for the sheer joy of travelling, exploring new cultures, terrains, landscapes...

ABOUT ME
I hail from one of the most beautiful countries - INDIA :) from a city called Bangalore. Bangalore has been home for me for the last 30 years and I now live in Düsseldorf, Germany.

I am an easy going individual who loves traveling, meeting new people, exploring new cultures, traversing across different terrains and pretty much like doing anything that I have never done before. After all.... isnt life all about trying new things :)

I am fun loving, high on energy, enjoy good humor, love pets nd children, love a good glass of wine or margharita and have the spirit to explore new spirits :) love food although a veggie i still like trying diff cuisines, have taken a new found passion for biking (lots to do though) and am basically a what you see is what you get person :)

Travelling to me is a way of exploring myself in the world unexplored. When 2 travellers meet the name, country, where you hail from...pretty much doesnt count... what brings them together amidst all the difference is the passion for travel and am here because CS provides a platform for the same. There is no other better way of learning and exploring the I and the world than by travelling :)

So keep those wheels under your feet moving :)))

I have taken my passion for travelling one step ahead now by quitting my job and dedicating myself to travelling and volunteering. Well its always tough to take those calls in life but you have to at times :))

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live....

Everything in life works well when you dont forget the FUN factor!!! So do whatever you have to do with passion! For me its all or nothing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ladakh in the Himalayas has been the most amazing journey for me...13 days in my 30th year

For me 13 has been a REMARKABLE JOURNEY
13 is bliss...
13 is solace...
13 is pristine beauty...
13 is feeling my head go high with each step that I take racing with the altitude...
13 is wild and crazy with river rafting in the whirpool...
13 is a skyful of bright stars ever seen in 30 years of my life...
13 is strangeness but yet feels like home...
13 is being in the middle of nowhere and yet yearning to belong somewhere...
13 is feeling a strong connect with every sound of the gong...
13 is being lost in the beauty of each monastery
13 is tears while watching the most beautiful green lake amidst the mountains silent and strong...
13 is discovery of a new spirit and thirst for life
13 is a new path...13 beautiful days in this heavenly abode has stirred me to think about LIVING each breath of my life!!!

These 13 days have been one of the best journeys of my lifetime and I do know I will be there soon to see another 13 :)

I love river rafting and enjoy rowing on the edge because I dont know swimming and helps me live life with a free spirit :)

I have also completed the Everest base camp trek as recently as April 2011 in Nepal and its been one of the most toughest and awesome experiences of my life!!!
