One amazing thing I've done in Indonesia is venturing deep into the heart of the Sumatran jungle. Guided by locals, I trekked for hours through dense rainforest, crossing rivers and navigating rugged terrain. As night fell, we arrived at a remote village untouched by modern life, where I was welcomed with warm smiles and a traditional feast. The night was spent under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle, as I shared stories with the villagers. The next morning, we set out early, and I had the once-in-a-lifetime experience of spotting an elusive orangutan in its natural habitat, a moment of pure awe that I will never forget.
