My name is Scott and I've aspired to get out and live life on the road and only use money for the basics. Food and gas. I have lived on my own since I was 18 and put myself through a year of college. My heart was not in it at the time, but I may go back in a few years. I love beautiful view and meeting open minded people.
I left West Virginia to head south, then west, and wherever from there in search of places and people I can enjoy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe everyone should do what makes them happy, regardless of money or other people's opinions. I've never felt "at home" in any specific place. I've always felt truly happy and at home when on the road. Something about a different scene everyday and being fully dependent on yourself is just amazing.
Oh! And a life long dream of mine is to become a sponsored base jumper.

Books: mostly nonfiction, but I like a lot of fiction too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once climbed a 400 ft radio tower, pitched a tent at the top, and read a book until I fell asleep. One of the most beautiful views I've ever been fortunate enough to see.
