ABOUT ME

I was infected with the travel bug at a young age. I began by taking weekend trips to the Rocky Mountains to ski/snowboard. After high school I moved west to the great state of Montana. There while studying medicine, my love for the outdoors only continued to grow. But I'm currently taking it easy for a bit, at the moment on the beach, making some money to go out and start some more adventures.....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couch surfing as long as I can remember, it all started with trips to the mountains in search of snow.

兴趣

Surfing, skiing/snowboarding, hot springs, and climbing. I also enjoy trekking, mtn biking, skating, kayaking, rafting. Other then sports cooking, yoga, mountains, beaches, cultures, languages, uncertainty, reading, and quality conversation.

The reason only your hands and feet wrinkle is: The reason your hands and feet are pruned or wrinkly is simply because they have soaked up water (duh). Now the reason it is localized to those two locations is because after prolonged time in water the waterproofing oil on our skin, sebum, will wash away. Sebum which is produced from the hair follicles will be made in enough quantity in the body to keep its waterproofing properties but the toes and fingers are affected since they do not have any hair. Now the other factor is that the outer layer of the skin or epidermis is made of the water loving keratin (these are the dead cells of the epidermis, think of your calluses) which is thicker on the hands and feet. Therefore it will absorb more water and bunch up like a skirt giving the wrinkling look
