CURRENT MISSION

My girlfriend and I travel often to Burning Man events around the world. We love meeting new people off the beaten path and discovering new ways to experience life through the eyes of others. When we travel, the people are favorite part of any geographic experience. Hosting fills in the gaps as it is like traveling the world from your home!

ABOUT ME

We have eclectic interests and enjoy seeing and learning new things while helping others. Around the Atlanta area and when we travel we try to seek out unique and interesting things enjoyed by locals and not found on conventional tourist guides. It is always more fun to experience the culture from the point of view of someone who has lived their life in that environment. Hearing a person's life story, how they came to be the person they are today and where they want to go in life puts everything you see in perspective.

When we have traveled to other places locally and abroad, we have been fortunate enough to stay with people who opened their homes to save us money and provide a warm and inviting space to spend our time away. We hope to provide reciprocity and to do the same for others.

We love the arts and opportunities to share in experiences with others. We have been to over 30 Burning Man events around the world and also enjoy visiting local festivals, events and meeting new people. Dinner and good conversation with friends. Escaping to the movies. Our range of interests for entertainment is varied and usually trends toward the unusual and unique to the mainstream blockbuster. We do not limit our ability to find fun around us.

Lots, so many, most anything that has mass appeal or is the winner of obscure movie festivals. We are genreless and like different things depending on our mood, environment, etc...Foreign films - awesome, summer blockbusters - awesome, thought provoking - awesome, stupid yet funny - equally awesome. Love to laugh or learn in a variety of settings.

We have attended over 30 Burning Man festivals. Compared to most people we are not that amazing. We both work full-time in the fields of education and human health.
