CURRENT MISSION

To see new places with my own eyes. I love mycology and want to get out of construction and start my own mushroom based business. From growing gourmet edibles and medicinals, to myco-remediating and "building" with fungi. I volunteer for and am on the board with the Colorado Mycological Society. I've not traveled much and have always wanted to. My membership on couchsurfing started in 2009, but I have only used it one time. I want that to change. I felt guilty because before I couldn't offer a couch. Now in 2020, my situation has changed. I can offer a humble little cabin, not much. My goal is to make acquaintances and friends with surfers who use my couch, in hopes I can visit their neck of the woods, if so desired.

ABOUT ME

Awe shoot. I don't like describing myself. When people ask about me, my response is "what do you want to know?" I love animals, people, music, mycology, movies, books, science, intelligent conversations, learning about new things, etc. Born and raised in the Trinity Alps. I enjoy listening to classic rock.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in men and women. Conscious man, thinking man with opposable thumbs and knowledge based in reality, creates. "If were made in his image," we are capable of doing anything "God" can do, with the right knowledge. The laws of the universe are universal, though we might not understand much yet.
But basically right now it doesn't matter if a God exists. Only man talks or writes about God. Only man fights wars in "Gods Name". Only man devises religion to manipulate man with un-proven promises after death. So to reach out to God for direction, will only result in a perceived "higher authority" or an "emotion, a feeling" to provide an answer.
