About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Globetrotting

ABOUT ME

There are few things I need right now, but there is a mountain of responsibilities that I have managed to become surrounded in. Travel is my refuge, my time machine back to discovery and learning about that which I have no control and little influence over. There I am the spectator on the level field of life.

I enjoy food of all variety and sharing a meal with new friends from all cultures of life. I am re-learning the basics, or perhaps just now learning about breathing, motion, discovery, sharing, investing in life and people, research of life, searching, wondering, wandering, smelling, seeing, knowing, thinking, wishing, hoping, loving, giving and living.

Life is not something that I take for granted. The suffering and handicaps of others brings to me a realization of my responsibility to others and creates my sense of awareness and appreciation. I will not waste a moment of this precious gift of life.

I move through life with purpose and confidence that I am alive for a reason. I want others to feel that way.

I want to see it all, yet be content traveling through my memories in precious silence. I like camping, but enjoy my bed even more. I finally understand what is a fine wine, but have found the best ones can be the least expensive. I want to read as much as possible with an open mind. I strive to be happy with the quiet simplicity of sitting and listening. I want to travel and learn until I can go no further, then I want only to teach others about the world that awaits them.

"If we all worked on the assumption that what is accepted as true is really true, there would be little hope of advance." - Orville Wright

PHILOSOPHY

In all your granaries, only one loaf of bread. From all your herd, only one cup of milk. In all your castle, only one half of a bed. How much more can one man possibly use? - Sanskrit.

I am searching for that same simplicity in life.
