CURRENT MISSION
Build a vert ramp/get back to Berlin.
ABOUT ME
I am absolutely fascinated by the English language and its versatility. Skateboarding and traveling most of the time, as well as many other random hobbies of lesser importance. Photography of all sorts is a constant companion of mine.Animals tend to completely sidetrack my attention span.
PHILOSOPHY
The journey is the destination."What is it about art, anyway, that we give it so much importance? Art is so respected by the poor because what they do is an honest way to get out of the slum, using one's sheer self as the medium. The money earned, proof, pure and simple, of the value of that individual, the artist. The picture a mother's son does in jail hangs on her wall as proof that beauty is possible even in the most wretched. And this is a much different idea than the much fancier notion that art is a scam and a rip-off. But, you could never explain to someone who used his God-given gift to enslave that you have used God's gift to be free."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am back in the United States and currently do not have a couch to share as I am unsure of my living situation for the next few months. I would be more than happy to talk to others curious about couchsurfing abroad!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Wouldn't travel any other way! Absolutely wonderful experience thus far. Without couchsurfing, my 6months of backpacking through Europe would probably have been quite painful. Instead, it was the single most enlivening journey that exceeded my wildest expectations. Couchsurfing introduced me to some of my favorite people in the entire world! In fact, just the concept of Couchsurfing has opened doors to a world that I never new existed. People are awesome!Week in Vienna, weeks in western Austria, weeks in Prague, weeks in Berlin, a week in Paris, a week in Copenhagen!
