About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to meet new people that are passing through our little town in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York..
ABOUT ME
I moved to Corning, NY over 5 years ago and I love this small town. It's 20 minutes from Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake and the beautiful Finger Lakes Wine Country. I started a business here because I felt a strong sense of support and community, but also because I'm intrigued by the amount of tourism and corporate culture in this tiny place. Mostly, I'm social and active and I'd love to meet people who thrive on real, human interaction!
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life for connectivity; for those moments when I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, I'm in the right place with the right people drinking the right bottle of beer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I plan to simply meet people at coffee shops, bars, boutiques, or wherever they feel comfortable. I'm not quite ready to host surfers in my apartment - maybe soon!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have no personal CouchSurfing experience. I've heard great things from great friends and I'm here to see what the community is all about.
Interests
I'm an avid runner and I love being introduced to new music. As a young entrepreneur, I also enjoy hearing stories of unique success in business and money-making. But mostly, I want to meet the people that make this world a better place through their creativity, passion, and action.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not too weird when it comes to music, movies, or especially books. I like the popular indie stuff, which is sort of a contradiction... moving documentaries and talented musicians can show up in any form and I'll appreciate them immensely!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving sounds like a cliche answer for this box... but it's true, I did it and it was amazing. More importantly, however, I performed with 7 other artists in a small venue in The Netherlands and I got to see the way creativity can cross borders and cultural boundaries. That was truly rewarding.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm an improvisational performer, and through this work I've learned how to be more present and genuine. I've learned to say "yes" to the ideas that life presents every day. I hope to bring that presence and openness to the CouchSurfing community, and I hope to meet people who can relate.
