About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn about and experience many of the world's cultures before im 30 (and start up a cafe in between)
ABOUT ME
So after high school in 2008 I travelled all around Europe, relying heavily on CS, mostly alone and got bitten my the travel bug. I've been travelling and studying intermittently ever since, back to Europe, Vanuatu and most recently 3 month rock climbing in South East Asia. Now, with my long-time girlfriend, the lovely Lauren, we're heading back to Japan where I spent much of my childhood for a trip down memory lane and to show her why I love the place. Lauren is 22, studying primary teaching and shares a love for travelling.
Also, I speak some conversational Japanese, which needs practice, so for hosts looking to learn English, I think we could really help each other out :)
PHILOSOPHY
"Consider yourself lightly, consider the world deeply"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mainly surfing. I have been living in a share house with 5 other flatmates in Bondi for the last year who aren't involved in couchsurfing and are less interested in giving up our little space! Id like to experience the hosting side as much as the surfing so hopefully when i return my accomodation situation will allow me to start hosting :).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had a fantastic time with CS on my first trip to Europe when I was hosted 20-odd times and only had amazing experiences. I couldn't believe my luck at having such great times at each spot - CS must attract the right kind of people I guess :).

Travelling
- With travel, the reason i love travelling and the places I go basically revolves just around learning about other cultures through food, language and really trying to get a sense of the everyday life of locals. Thats my idea of travelling as opposed to travel for sightseeing or partying or "ticklisting".

Music, Movies, and Books
Love reading, almost always non-fictional history, military history, science, classics etc. Movies and music I think i like just as much as the next person and a pretty wide range of both.
