Overview
About Me
Open minded traveller. Observer, learner, talkative and some might say funny guy. Others might say the opposite. Don’t care about others opinions, philosophies and prejudices; I care that they have ones and they are open to discuss them. I enjoy deep thinking and questioning, not happy to be around agreeable people who’s idea of a better self lies on spreading happiness and balloons - nothing against those, if you understand what I mean.
Carrying my own weight and learning to help others (inspire?) to do the same. Life’s hard man.
Anyway, I’m all about sports and wine, nature and partying , sleeping and training. I could also say I’m all about balance, making sure no doors are being shut for no reason.
Traveling is a true passion. Going away for the safe shock of a new encounter, taste, language or weather conditions really gets me going and puts my heart (also my head) to work. I travel every time I have the chance. I’m learning to travel with my partner and negotiate places and to-do’s, often not easy but always rewarding since her views give me new perspectives. We have a newly born son: now he decides everything. That makes the traveling aspect of my life unique now; I see places and people and food and rain in true colors, and I’m very thankful for that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The exchange with others, learning from different cultures and ways, open to the unexpected, fascinated by the drive of people for connecting -the necessity of others and how that shape the way we experience life.
