About Me

ABOUT ME

I was a student of sustainable development, passionated with many fields ranging from urban planning, energy, politics to gastronomy, language, and travels. I truly believe that knowledge is made to be shared in order to improve people's capacity to make a better world. I love to interact with new people and enjoy the simple things that life offers. i am now coming back from 3 internships and preparing to be mobilised most likely for humanitarian aid.

Me gusta un monton viajar y conocer, ya vivi en muchos paises me siento privilegiado de poder entender varias realidades y aprovechar de la naturaleza con otras personas. Quiero aprender siempre y nunca quedarme quieto en mi lugar. No tengo mucho para ofrecer sino mis experiencias y mi amistad :)

PHILOSOPHY

hakuna matata, la vita e bela, I believe respect of yourself and others is the most important thing, my dad call me a environmental terrorist but I m not so radical... I love to share beautiful moments of nice with loved one and strangers. I like music, sports and adventures, learning, cooking, creating and thinking about how to make this world a better place ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have met people from a lot of different places and learned so much with them. Interaction always permitted me to grow in a certain way. My roomate was hosting people when I was living in Italy and I decided to join the adventure! Since then I have been using CS in Brazil and Mexico and I shared amazing experience with wonderful people. I think CS dynamics are very interesting because you meet open minded people who are curious and passionated. I love understanding other cultures and learn languages, I have had the priviledge of visiting many places and worked in institution like UN, a ministry and EU. I feel the desire and the responsibility to exchange experience with other people so that we can realize potential and increase the reach of our opportunities. I hope I can bring something to people, while smiling during our encounters !

Interests

energia, vita humana, entorno, cultura , cibo, festa, stranieri, experiencia, studi, etcccc... :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Samba since my stay in Brazil but also Arab music, I am a Reggae fan since youg age, rap sometimes
Last very nice book I red is called: Las venas abiertas de America Latina (Galeano) history of economic cycles and the position of south american cities in the capitalist system, it is a little bit old but helps to understand context
Movie: of course into the Wild (adventure like) but also i like the humor of "the Dictator", I love "Mulan" also and many more

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two of my self-organised volunteering experience, among other, of which I am very proud are:
- Construction of new traditional houses, creation of a compost point to create natural fertilizer and environmental education (take care of non-organic solid waste in the Amazon Jungle) during a 3 weeks immersion in indigenous community. Sensibilisation to economic alternatives to unregulated oil/gold mining in natural protected areas, description of negative effects of chimical hazards.
- Gathering of unsold left-over food from local market, organization of cooking sessions in a refugee dorm in Padova (Northern Italy) weekly for 5 months. I learned about multicultural dialogue and basic logistical considerations. Life experience that strenghened my commitment towards the improvement of the life of the most vulnerable people in the region.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help with languages, I have methods to learn and I can apply them to teach. Other than that of course I can help with cooking or contribute to basic household (I find it normal if you are in a place to take care of it)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very friendly and I can show you around ! I always have something to talk about. There are so many stories Feel free to ask me whatever you want about my travels, experiences in special situtions, my culture or my home country. I m willing and glad to share knowledge and opinions about life, politics, economy, arts and food !
