Hey there ☺️
I am Rosa, 20 years old, from the Ore Mountains in Germany. I studied International Relations and Economics in Germany and starting October this year I start studying human-medicine.

Iam currently in China, visiting a friend in Kunming. After that I have to go to Vietnam (for non-visa travels in China I have to leave country every 2 weeks) and then to Shenzen and Hong Kong, before I have a summer-school stipend for 2 weeks end of August in Hangzhou.

I would love to experience as much of Chinese everyday life in this time as possible, as it was always a dream to come here and I don’t know, when the next time will be I can return :D tho I hope to once get the chance to make an exchange year by university with China.

I learned Mandarin in Germany HSK1 level going towards HSK2 level. Unfortunately now that I am already some days here, I have to say that it’s tho really hard for me to communicate in proper way yet, as my accent is very heavy.

People describe me as calm, polite and organized. I love deep conversations, nature and big adventures (hopefully just as big as i can handle it). I love to experience cultures and the way people life under different circumstances.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If I don't get in touch with the people that live there, why travel and not just look at pictures and videos of the sites at home? It was always a bless to get in touch with people over CS and it enriched my travels every time! :D Best memories!! ^^ One day I hope to be able to host myself, as for now I live in university dorms and am not allowed to. But if you like to experience the Ore Mountains in Germany near the Czech Border my parents have some spare room :D

I got into movies just some years ago, and I’m totally passionate about it. From Indie Movies, to old Classics to there and then a bad Romcom Movie :) Tarantino, Monty Pythons and the Coen Brothers are always a go to. I have still a lot to learn and there are many many movies I still want to watch!
