Living our life as a married couple.

ABOUT ME

We have been married since the summer of 2012. A Norwegian and a Swede that have found our common path in common love: Each other. We like to make things with our own hands, no matter if it is food or clothes.

Love to get known with people. Don't drink alcohol or smoke.

PHILOSOPHY

Eiliv:
• By expecting that the worst thing can happen tomorrow with a positive mind, you will never get disappointed.
• Big inspiration: Jesus, Mahatma Gandhi, Dorothy Day, Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu (better known as Mother Teresa), Shane Claiborne, Desmond Tutu, Olav Karenus Sørhus (my grandpa)

Hanna:
• Make as many people as possible feel as good as possible.
• What you do now, you don't have to do tomorrow.
• Take responsibility.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Eiliv's experience:
• Thanks to CS, I discovered Nkuringo, my new paradise, through CS member Lydia.
• Had people staying with me twice.
• Visited a guest who stayed with me once.
• Couchsurfed twice.

Hanna's experience:
• Before marriage, none. Only heard about it.

We don't have much experience since we got married.

Hanna: Books with many pages, fantasy, but not set in our times.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Eiliv: Gorilla tracking in Uganda, sailing with dhow on the cost of Kenya, survived cancer three times, celebrate christmas together with muslims in Kosovo, slept in an ice cave several times…

Hanna: Living in rural Africa for 10 months (Mozambique), traveling in Uganda and Kenya, running Lidingöloppet (30 km cross country) in a little less than 3 hours.

Eiliv: Know how to make sushi. Got a lot of experience of travel in East-Africa. Even know a way to experience a new city or make your time go while you are bored, that many people don't know about.

Hanna: Languages (learn and teach), handcrafted stuff (learn and teach).
