About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Professional: to one day build my new company into the largest education company in the world. And to one day become a well known foreign policy writer.

Personal: to find the right person to share my life with and hopefully have enough money to travel around the world together.

ABOUT ME

Let's see. I am short (about 168 cm). I've lived in three countries and traveled to four more. I love doing the things I am interested in. I wrote a book. I got my MBA. I'm opening an education company. I love reading and writing about international relations.

PHILOSOPHY

My 2 biggest philosophies are these:

Nothing is more important than people. Without people there would be nothing. And people should treat others the way that person would want to be treated...which isn't the same as, "Treat somebody the way YOU'D want to be treated."

Then, this world is such a huge place. It would be such a shame to live your entire life and only see one little part of it. I want to see the whole thing. And that's what I am living for, now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couch surfed on two people's couches (they were both wonderful people) and I've met a few nice people, as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met 2 very kind people on CS in Korea who showed me around. Years later I'm still in touch. I stayed at a wonderful girl's apartment in Shanghai. She was so friendly and introduced me to other global travelers. And I also stayed at a very nice girl's apartment in Toronto. She was very kind and hospitable, as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of American music. I love chick flicks (romantic comedies) and dramas. I also love to read a whole variety of books about politics, economics, philosophy, business, leadership, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Published a book

Teach, Learn, Share

This is awesome. This is something I believe so strongly in: that people need to learn and grow together. Well, I am a Certified Financial Planner so I can teach about investing and personal finance. I love talking about global politics. I like discussing life in general and feel like I have learned so many valuable lessons despite being so young. But yet, there is so much I can learn. I know almost nothing compared to the amount of information out there.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot of knowledge. A different perspective. Laughter. Friendship.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Canada, China, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, South Korea, United States
