Hi! I’m Senal — a Sri Lankan living in California, spending more time exploring and enjoying the beautiful outdoors across California and traveling whenever I can.

I joined Couchsurfing back in 2017 and always wanted to try it, but never really had the chance. Now, I finally feel this is the right time to give it a proper go and experience what Couchsurfing is truly about.

As a Scout, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from every continent in the world. Because of these experiences, I find it easy to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and genuinely enjoy conversations shaped by different cultures and perspectives.

What I love about Couchsurfing is the opportunity to connect with local people, understand a city and its surroundings from a local point of view, and go beyond the typical tourist experience. I really enjoy sharing stories, building meaningful connections, and learning from others along the way.

I’m easygoing, respectful, and tidy. I’m always happy to share my outdoor experiences and travel stories, and if you’re interested, I can also teach you how to cook authentic Sri Lankan food — many Sri Lankan dishes are naturally vegan 🌱.
