ABOUT ME

I've been traveling around for the past three years. I've been getting around via planes, boats, bikes, sneakers, my thumb and the generous motorists that pull over to meet it. I've been doing alot of work on organic farms(WWOOF.org) for room and board (and sometimes spare cash). I've been kind of an odd job jack, doing ramdom labour jobs for enough money to fund my conquest.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel the most important rule is the the golden one (treat others the way you want to be treated)

that aside:

"always try to leave a space better than you found it"

"the most important part of a healthy relationship is communication"

"live every day like it´s your last"

"someday never comes"

"There´s no time like the present"

"castles made of sand..."

"practice what you preach" (This can be hard sometimes I hate hypocrasy, but I´m sure we are all are hypocritical at points)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Wow. I've hitched hiked down the west coast of North America for the past year and a half straight, and have couch surfed throughout The States, Mexico and Guatemala. I've made friends, and had experiences that could not have been possible any other way. I seriously promote this site and way of living to anyone who cares to listen

Interests

I am interested in creativity and positive self expression of all forms. I enjoy: drawing, painting, leatherworking, jamming(I´ve been traveling with a ukulele for almost two years now), sculpting, sewing projects, I would love to learn glass blowing. Basically I want to express myself through as many mediums as possible.
I´m also interested in healthy active living and alternative lifestlyes, yoga, hiking, rock climbing, martial arts,organic foods,cooking(and nice kitchens for that matter)solar wind and other alternative energies, I would like to learn cob and strawbale construction, I appreciate well designed communal spaces and enjoy disscusing various ideas and layouts for self sustaining communities.

Teach, Learn, Share

I met these guys on the side of the highway, I was hitch hiking down from the Yukon. We were standing around talikng about life goals. You know, the "When I´m old I want to.."
One of them said "I want to make it to a party when I´m seventy. That´s it. If you make to a party at seventy nobody cares what your wearing, or what you´re drinking. Nobody cares who you came with, or how you got there. All that matters is that you are there and you are a seventy year old at a party. You have been alive for seventy years! All that matters is what `You´ have to say. So collect some good stories, and don´t die out there guys."

It has stuck with me since that moment and I wanted to share it.
