Overview
About Me
안녕하세요! (Hi!) I'm an ordinary guy who loves to go on a backpacking trip. I'm from Gwang-ju, southwestern of South Korea, which is one of the most historical places for the democracy of my country.
I have no idea how I could describe myself, but I think I'm a kind of person trying to be open-minded, outgoing, and respectful for their own life when I meet up with somebody. I really love learning something by a trip, book, and conversation.
Don't you think it make us feeling sad that we live in just one specific country of the huge earth and finally die? :( Practically it will be difficult to change the country I live. Therefore, I travel abroad as much as possible. I strongly believe that we all are connected each other and here CS is a powerful platform to realize it. Hope to build a nice relationship with you who are reading my profile at this moment. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As we already know, travel information is enough on the net. We can easily make and organize our travel plans by ourselves. But, such a journey would be somewhat empty. The reason why I'm here CS is to learn and experience something different, by meeting and communicating with a variety of hosts/surfers together who have different backgrounds such as culture, religion, and race over the world. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Normally I just prefer songs than musician. :) But some musicians were my favorites. They are Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson, Psy, M.C. The Max, and X-Japan(J-rock band). Recently I love listening songs of K-girl groups, Blackpink, Bolbbalgan4, and BTS.
About Movies, 'Dead Poets Society', 'Life Is Beautiful', 'Sound Of Music', 'Love letter', 'Secret', 'Schindler's List', 'Titanic', 'Old Boy', and 'Joint Security Area' were unforgettable. :)
To broad my knowledges, I try to read books. I think reading a book is quite important and necessary for our life. My interests are social issue and philosophy from Capitalism, and humanity such as history, culture, psychology.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got a scuba license to overcome the fear of water, though I couldn't swim (2013)
Experienced paragliding over the Mediterranean Sea in Fethiye/Turkey (2013)
Stayed in TSR(Trans-Siberian Railway), from Vladivostok to Irkutsk, for 4days/3nights (2015)
But, the most amazing thing has yet to happen. My life is still going on. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share Korean culture, language and my travel stories if you are interested. I'm filled with curiosity and open-minded to learn something new. Any language, culture, knowledge are welcome. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can take and cook Korean foods for you (maybe instant foods. lol. It's easy and quick. Haha.) And let's not only exchange our cultures and languages together but also share life stories. Plus, If you visit my city or the others in Korea, I can give useful local tips on your trip. :)
