Hey I'm an exchange student from Germany. I studied 1 year at Virginia Tech and before I return to Germany I would like to explore the United States. My major was Mechanical Engineering but throughout my college life I found my passion for languages. I am trying to get fluent in Russian by the end of this year. Fortunately, i was raised bilingually with German and Turkish so that I have a strong base to build on. Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I am actually new to couchsurfing, a friend told me about it. I was for 2 days in Atlanta and tried couchsurfing for the first time. I have to admit I was skeptic in the beginning, but my host was so friendly and polite. He also gave me plenty of advices where to go and where not. All in all, it was a great and valuable experience. I would love to try it again.
