I'm a math/CS guy and have been working in the software industry for most of my life, first at university, then at SAP, later founding my own company. I grew up in Russia and Germany, so I'm pretty much bilingual in Russian and German, and also speak fluent English. My French and Japanese are not quite as good, but also relatively decent.

Having visited dozens of countries, I'm particularly fond of Japan where I go every year, sometimes several times per year, and I've travelled it from Okinawa to Hokkaido. I've been doing karate since I was 17, and am also a big fan of Japanese anime and manga.

Personality-wise, I am quite relaxed and laid-back, and don't usually talk much unless the topic really interests me :)

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

so far I've been mostly staying in hotels and ryokans in Japan, and I feel like trying something different. I am not after saving money, rather would be interested in finding nice people in Tokyo to hang out with (someone with interest in anime/manga would be especially great).

I've lived in 3 countries - Russia, Germany, Switzerland - and have visited many more. I'm also an avid anime fan and have seen many hundreds of series, met a number of seiyuu and animation studio staff personally at various events, etc.
