The south side of the Big Island is where I call home. I am a car and truck mechanic, starting with motor scooters when I was just 13 years old growing-up in Argentina.

I live about 50 miles or 1hr 20min drive southward from Kona and just about 2 hours to Hilo on the east side. From here it is about 1 hour to Volcano national park. My home is currently a fixer upper as I have just acquired it, along with the property it's on and it's not really well equipped to have people stay for the night.

HOWEVER, I will happily take couch surfers around the Big Island to see all the sights. From the dolphins near Kona, to the green sands beach at South Point. The island has many secrets and I would love to share them with you.

Sometimes I will repair a car and need to take it for a test drive. This is a good opportunity to make trips to the airport or food shopping in Kona. If you need a ride and want to share the gas costs and have a tour, let me know - it's fun for me to share the stories of the island.

It's not always easy coming to Hawaii on a small budget. I can help you learn about safely camping or car camping with a 4x4 to all the interesting and not normally frequented places that tourist don't always get see. I'd like to gather a group of couch surfers and have a bonfire and cookout, camping near the beach.

I am on couch surfing because I want share my knowledge of getting on the Big Island of Hawaii to see the share the amazing sights with new people from far away places. Share stories. This is also a perfect chance to learn a little more about traveling the globe and broaden my circle of friends.

I will listen to nearly anything. A good thriller movie always has a way of getting my heart racing. Not much of a reader myself, although I'm a sucker for a good old car manual.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to build and race cars (S.C.C.A.pro racing .), fly small planes. I sure do miss those days.
