About Me

I'm Brazilian and have been living in Mendoza, Argentina for the past nine years. What started as a short stay turned into something much bigger—I ended up building my life here.

I graduated in Tourism and currently work at a travel agency, organizing tours to Mendoza’s main wineries as well as trips to the mountains.

I work from home, so my days are usually pretty calm—mostly spent answering emails and being on my computer.

I really enjoy hosting people at my place, sharing stories, and meeting travelers from different parts of the world. In my free time, I like playing games, listening to music, watching movies and series, and just enjoying my home and the company of my pets.

I’m easygoing, flexible, and always happy to help travelers who need a place to stay for a night or two. No matter the day, if I’m in Mendoza, good company is always welcome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing mainly because I enjoy meeting new people and having meaningful conversations.

My profile was inactive for quite a while, but over the past few months I had the chance to travel a lot—especially around Europe and Asia. During those trips, I reconnected with a version of myself that really enjoys sharing experiences with others, which inspired me to update my profile and start hosting again.

I also appreciate having good company to enjoy a night in Mendoza—whether it’s sharing a nice bottle of wine or going out to some of the city’s well-known electronic music parties.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m into pretty much all kinds of music—I honestly believe there are only two types: good music and bad music. So one day I could be at a Metallica concert, and the next dancing to Ocho Cuarenta by Rodrigo at a local club 😂

I’m also really into music festivals, especially electronic and EDM events. Mendoza has become one of the top cities in Argentina for hosting world-class DJs, and the electronic parties here are truly on another level.

I’m a big fan of movies and TV shows as well—I’ve honestly lost count of how many I’ve watched. I enjoy everything from classics to new releases.

Overall, music, movies, and even books are things I really enjoy sharing with others. I’m very easygoing and eclectic when it comes to taste, so if you are too, we’ll definitely have plenty to enjoy together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most incredible things I’ve ever done was choosing to leave Rio de Janeiro—with its beaches and ocean—and move to Mendoza, surrounded by mountains in the interior of Argentina.

Going from a huge city to a smaller one in another country was a big change, and some might even call it crazy. But it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life.

These past eight or nine years in Argentina have been an amazing journey of personal growth and self-discovery. More recently, I also had the chance to travel around Europe and fulfill a dream of mine—visiting Japan and spending a month there.

I hope to keep having more incredible experiences in the near future and continue adding new stories to share here.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you with Brazilian Portuguese—whether it’s basic learning or conversation practice—and I’m also happy to practice English and Spanish with you.

I can also share some of my computer skills, but one of the main things I can offer is my knowledge of tourism. I’ve spent years organizing tailor-made trips for travelers visiting Mendoza, Argentina, as well as Santiago, Chile.

So I can definitely give you great tips to help plan your trip around Argentina, Santiago, and even my hometown, Rio de Janeiro.

For me, it’s all about sharing knowledge and experiences with each other.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What I can offer is what I value the most: my time and a safe, welcoming space if you’re thinking about staying with me for a few days or nights.

I truly appreciate the opportunity to share my home, and I’ll do my best to make you feel comfortable and at ease. I believe I can also offer great company, meaningful conversations, and a few “travel war stories” along the way.

What matters most is creating a positive experience and sharing genuinely good moments together.
