Overview
About Me
I'm an American who doesn't plan to go back. Right now I'm getting my MA in Elementary Education at the American University of Beirut. After that, idk.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing has been a great blessing to me. From my first experience in Vladivostok, Russia, to my most recent in Uzbekistan. CouchSurfers are a different breed of people - the BEST people. Thanks to couch surfing Ive not only been able to afford my trip across Asia, but it's been so much richer because of the taste for everything that these people have been able to share with me.

Music, Movies, and Books
In high school and my early 20's I was hardcore into jazz music. More recently, I'm crazy for American country music, R&B, soul, and house.
I watch too many movies. My favorites are Leon/The Professional, The Blues Brothers, and Up!
I've not been much of a reader until more recently. I'm engrossed in the Song of Ice and Fire series right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On Christmas Eve, 2011 in Istanbul I was staying in a hostel.
5pm - I decided I would have a quiet evening, staying inside out of the cold, chatting with other hostel guests.
7pm - I was out to dinner with 7 Italians, 6 females and 1 male.
9pm - I was singing IN the choir at the largest Catholic church in Istanbul for the midnight mass.
1am - I was toasting champagne with 20 Italians in some diplomat's home who's name I never learned.
Teach, Learn, Share
The more I learn, the more I realize I don't know.
