You should call me asking if you can stay in addition to emailing.

I want to host people more than I want to travel. In fact, I am going to put myself out there a little more than normal and I want people to call me if they want a place to stay. Most of the requests I get are for people wanting a place to stay who come late and leave early, which is ok I guess, but I would rather kick it for a minute. Here is my phone number 775-225-4379. Send a Couch Request and then call. It's weird that people send texts instead of calling, it's like "I'm know I'm going to stay at your house, but it's weird to call, so I'm sending a text instead". Send a text if you must (I hate vmails). I'll reply back and lets see if we can't sorta improved the communication and make more arrangements over the phone to hang out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really really like CS. It's really fun to connect with people and learn new things. I breathe this.
I love that my first surfing experience (I had hosted quite a bit before that) landed me in CSBasecamp in SF. I met some really cool people and it was super fun going back for Critical Mass and Burning Man.

Kevin Smith movies, movies that have a bunch of stories that interconnect like Crash and 11:14, I like fantasy, science fiction, Playboy, and literature.
I like music that has some synth in it like MGMT, Shiny Toy Guns, Muse, New Wave and stuff. I like most all music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Burning Man 2009-2014. Lived in Spain. Touched an octopus scubadiving in Maui, varial kickflipped a stairset first try, made some amazing friends all over the word. Rode a bicycle over 3 days from Reno to Davis.
