I've lived in Sydney for 15 years and I study medicine at university here. I'm currently taking a year off to travel. I love meeting new people and trying new things. I love the outdoors and great food...sunrises and tea are my favourite things in the world, ideally both together. I've recently taken up slacklining, yoga/acro, meditation and salsa. Recently did a 10-day silent meditation retreat and I loved it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing seems like an awesome way to meet like-minded people, I love travellers because they're generally open minded and easy going.

Interests

I love the outdoors, exploring new places and getting to know people. I also like my beers & red wine along with some good conversations.

I also like to meditate (been going for about 1 year) & recently doing a lot reading & writing. Mostly psychology business related stuff.

Other random things I've done recently are doing Improvisation classes, self-teaching myself guitar, taken salsa classes, and acroyoga.

Music, Movies, and Books

A lot. I love music loud. I mostly love house and indie rock. Very different, but both amazing.

I like to read, mostly around personal psychology and self-growth. I loved reading the Alchemist, Power of Now & How to Win Friends & Influence people, I'm currently reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and next I'm going to read Man's Search for Meaning.

I love movies, but I usually don't have time for them. I loved Interstellar because of the crazy storyline, fantastic visuals, superb acting and thrilling soundtrack. Anything good esp thriller/mystery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most challenging thing I did was a 10-day silent meditation course in April, 2016. Not being able to socialise nearly drove me insane. Other amazing things I've done recently are...improv classes involving a performance at the end of 8 weeks, salsa classes & learning to handstand within a month.
