About Me
Hi! I’m Shahzad Akhtar, a 21-year-old who loves connecting with people and exploring new places. While I’m just starting my travel journey, I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of immersing myself in different cultures, meeting new people, and collecting unique experiences.
I’m also someone who deeply appreciates the simplicity and charm of village life. I love farming and enjoy spending time in nature, which makes rural areas feel like a second home to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is the perfect way for me to combine my love for meeting people with my desire to explore the world authentically. As someone new to traveling, I’m here not only to find a place to stay but also to gain valuable advice and suggestions from locals and experienced travelers.
I want to experience life through the eyes of locals, discover hidden gems, and learn about rural and urban lifestyles from people who truly know them.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Currently, I’m hooked on "Paardarshi" by Lashcurry—it’s a beautiful track that resonates with me.
Book: One book that’s inspired me is "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne. Its message about the power of positive thinking has left a lasting impression on me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve had the unique opportunity to work hands-on in my family’s fabrication business, learning skills like welding, ducting, and fitting from scratch. It’s incredible to see raw materials turn into something functional and valuable, and this experience has taught me the importance of hard work and craftsmanship.
Additionally, I’ve managed to inspire and connect students with quality tutors through a tuition service I built from the ground up. Helping students succeed feels like an amazing contribution to their growth!
