ABOUT ME
Youuu Hoooo!! Hi there! We are a young couple living in Georgia. As I said above, he is in the Air Force and I am a middle school math teacher. I also spent a year teaching English in South Korea. Robert has also been stationed in Germany and South Korea. We just moved here from England and it is HOT!
When we found out about this program we thought it was a little shaky. Being from New York can make you lack trust in people. After researching we found that this is a network of people just like us and we love it.
We feel that no matter how many similarities or differences we may have with surfers or hosts there will always be something to learn and bring back with us.
As we have yet to actually surf, our profile is a bit bare, forgive us!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had the BEST experiences in both Venice and Rome. My host were wonderful and helpful. Made me want to keep going!
Interests
A better question; what aren't we interested in. Shaina has recently started drawing and trying her hand at photography. Shaina also spends a lot of time scrapbooking and art journaling. Rob is writing a screen play. We tend to be pretty artsy fartsy around here.

Music, Movies, and Books
Shaina- I will read anything you put in front of me. I am especially partial to science fiction/fantasy. My life is serious enough, why not hang out with vampires in my books. Movies and music--pretty open. Don't like country though.
Robert- I'm the same as Shaina, except I will listen to ANYTHING! I love all music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a month in Ghana, West Africa on a farming village when I was in College. It was in the middle of the Ghanaian summer and I worked on the fields with leaders of the village. There were about 500 people in this sea side village and there was only one toilet. The experience opened my eyes to just how privileged we are in the USA. It also changed several other aspects of my life; how I use water, how I treat people, and the small things I am thankful to be blessed with.
Teach, Learn, Share
Shaina-I am a pretty good cook, and I can hook you up with some great soul food. I'm also a licensed English teacher. Language exchange please!
We would really like to learn to Salsa...or any dance really.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My super positive spirit.
