I'm an ex-Montréaler who now lives in the Eastern Townships of Quebéc, about one and a half hours outside of Montréal. I work for myself, I work on my house, go back to Montreal once a week or so to visit friends, see family and just for a change.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I think the concept is great. Lodging is usually the biggest expense when traveling and having a friendly and comfortable place to stay can make the trip more affordable, allowing for more traveling to be done. At the least, it's a way to save money, and at best it can be a great experience meeting new people.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Experienced a sand storm from the 40th or something floor of a hotel in Dubai. I was above the clouds and couldn't see a thing, only two or three other buildings that also poked through the upper layers. There's so much more but . . . you just wanted one !
Teach, Learn, Share
Cooking, ways of seeing the world, ways of seeing ourselves in the world . . . it's a good question. I think I'll think about that !
