Good morning! My name is Shane and my life's goal is to teach history in secondary education! I believe my future students deserve the best education, so I strive to travel as much as possible to not only visit the locations I will be teaching but also to diversify my life! I love meeting new people willing to travel the world for personal growth and extrapersonal advocacy! I believe the flow of different ideas between individuals propels society forward! I am currently planning a two-month trip to Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands in the Fall of 2018! I will be staying in Florence, Italy to earn my Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification! I will then travel for a month across Europe to learn history for my future students :D

I traveled to the Jemez Pueblo in New Mexico, USA, Poland, and the Czech Republic in 2017. While in Zakopane, Poland, we traversed to the top of the Carpathian Mountains were almost struck by lightning when a horrific storm arrived. In the same trip, I drank with the former leader of the Polish Green Party in Warsaw, Poland and interviewed several members of the Polish Sejm and the Czech Senat.
