I'm an easy going guy from Alaska who loves new experiences, especially creatively. I DJ, write fiction and do music, and when money is low I bartend, cook, or work on boats doing water freight and taxi. People tell me I'm low maintenance.

I also dig outdoorsy stuff; kayaking, hiking, etc.

I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. There's little that compares to the rush of a truthful and provoking conversation about ideas and meaning. I believe, in general, that people are trying to do their best, and a life without both connection and love is its own prison. To laugh is to glimpse heaven.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting interesting people and sharing a cool experience is far more attractive than getting a hotel and watching TV shows I don't even like.
