I'm a theatre geek who's taken some time off from the stage to be a full time caregiver for a family member. I don't get out to travel much because of my daily position, but when I do, I love to visit unique places and see new things. Most of my life is taken up with caring for my grandmother. We do lots of fun things together like go to little league baseball games, the zoo, picnics, and even to a local bar (we love our beer!) When I'm not taking care of her, I try to get out and travel or visit with friends because I spend a lot of my time at home for my work. When I was working in theatre, I spent most of my time back stage, in scenic construction, and prop making. My specialty is making props. I love to design and throw theme parties and often document them on my dessert blog, Shane's Killer Cupcakes. My blog also showcases my fun baking experiences. I love to take road trips and hope to take more of them in the coming years. My favorite thing to do is collect souvenirs and trinkets from my trips.
