Overview
About Me
I just graduated from Auburn University with a degree in finance. I decided I was not ready to join the work force so I am taking a year to travel around the world before I start my career. I am trying to open my mind to new cultures and new ways to see life. I am just searching for good people, food, wine, and experiences. I have no set agenda of places I am visiting but just were the wind takes me. I am originally from California.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing is the best way to immerse myself in local culture. I want to see the world through others eyes. I am very independent so i can keep to my self or I can interact with my hosts as much as they want me to. I am super easy going. My friends call me the "corporate hippy" because i am very driven in my education and career but still love to life life to the fullest with the least amount of stress . Those two terms kinda counteract each other but I think I am a good balance of both.
Interests
Food/Drink:
I am a very open person willing to try any new meal or drink. I love coffee!
Outdoors:
I love to camp, hike, surf, rock climb and cycle. So if you know any local places to do that stuff I would love to know where i can do that stuff. I recently got involved in martial arts and would like to continue my training in that.
Learning:
I love to read and learn as much as I can. I focus on finance in my self-education but do venture on other things to be well rounded. While traveling for the next year I will be studying for the Chartered Financial Analyst level 1 exam which I will take in June of 2018
