Hello! We love adventure, new people, new cultures, new experiences.
Travel is a deep part of who we am, who we were created to be. We've never met a stranger. ;)

We love to be around people, and also greatly appreciate some time of solitude at times... it keeps the heart strong! ;) We love the beauty of nature, good food & wine, & especially good conversation with new or old friends...

I try to live my life moment by moment. I love people and getting to know them. I believe we each have a personal destiny that, in the end, unites us. We all have personal gifts and unique talents. We need each other to walk through life. I believe in authentic, loving friendships and relationships! Wisdom is gained through life experience...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Shannessy first experienced the amazing-ness of couchsurfing while still singe and traveling Italy/Sicily... then took some time off to fall madly in love and get married... and now we are taking on the world TOGETHER! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done some 'independent' couch surfing during my travels in the past. You know, staying with 'friends of friends' and such. EVERY TIME it has been a joy to stay with kind-hearted strangers and learn about them and their city. It is far-preferred over hotel life as one is able to REALLY experience the culture of the area through the best part... THE PEOPLE!

We have a strong faith... not RELIGION... but RELATIONSHIP with our God and Creator, and believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior. We have not always been Christians, but since having discovered 'the Way' have found our lives to be even more FULL and LOVING, and full of hope and life than before!

We also love to discover good wine and food, and ESPECIALLY new friends. WE LOVE PEOPLE. Can't wait to meet you!

Inspirational or funny movies are my favorite, when I take time to sit down and watch!

AND MUSIC! AHHHHHHHH... I love love LOVE to listen to music. It can take me to far away places and make me feel alive!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In Africa I have seen many miracles, including a blind man regain his sight. It was astoundingly beautiful; words cannot describe. But I do know this: my very core (heart) was cracked open in a new and beautiful way after witnessing this miraculous event. I am forever changed and know that our God is good... very, VERY good!

I have a strong relationship with God, my Creator, and therefore love to talk about spiritual things! I have had many wonderful experiences in my mission trips that inspire hearts and bring light to the soul.

I love to learn about nearly anything. We must never stop learning!
