Overview
About Me
I tend toward introversion, though most folks wouldn't guess it. I'm simultaneously high strung and laid back. A good day for me is a quiet one spent either on my own with my dogs, or with a few close friends and my dogs, ideally hiking or in the garden. I enjoy the outdoors immensely. Naps are also an important part of my life. Gotta love a good nap. Cooking is part of my life every day, and food is one of my passions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting people and developing community wherever I go is important to me. I value hospitality , both as a host and as a guest. I love to talk to folks to learn more about their lives and their interests. By traveling in this way, we can all connect more profoundly with those we once called strangers. Also, there is the practicality aspect of Couchsurfing. It costs less than hotels and gives me much-needed access to a refrigerator and kitchen, which I need due to the specific diet I must follow because of my health issues.
Music, Movies, and Books
Gotta love the classical.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time I kayaked for five weeks with my brother from Michigan to New Jersey. No joke. It was nuts.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Being a massage therapist tends to make me popular in most places I go. I also am handy in the kitchen for all meals. I'm one of those odd people who enjoys to do dishes, as well.
