ABOUT ME
I forayed into journalism after completing my MA in Economics from Mumbai University. I am passionate about wildlife, ornithology, adventure, travel and meeting new people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I am quite a bookaholic and you can see a book stock in my house. I read everything right from travel, non fiction, spirituality, politics, world war and so on.
I have lived in different cities of India, but Bombay is the place where I literally grew up, then a year in Bangalore and then Chennai, now Coimbatore. I don't miss the big city life much. I would love to explore new countries, cultures and travel a lot and write a book about my travel experiences! :) I always believe that it is unsettlement that keeps you going in life. :)
PHILOSOPHY

Music, Movies, and Books
I personally love Turkish author Orhan Pamuk. Among Indian authors, I love RK Narayan, Ruskin Bond, to name some. Any book that talks about travel and life, I grab it! I love alternative music..not really a big hip hop fan, but love country music, blues, jazz, instrumentals..I have a big list of movies that I love..I am a movie buff and love watching movies in any language..If I have to pick one movie, it would be travelers and magicians, a Bhutanese film. I love the movie, the scenic Bhutan and the message the film gives.
