I am a divorced journalist living on a small horse farm. I retired at age 45 and began back packing across Europe. I am a horse show judge so traveling whilst working is pretty easy. I have a beautiful, laid back farm house here in Missouri outside of Kansas City whereby I can easily accommodate an overnight traveler. I also accept dogs, one per stay, but they must sleep in our sun room. There are 3 acres to roam and explore and always some farm chores if you would like to be helpful! Good eateries and cool places to visit nearby including a few local bistros, antique shops and craft malls.

I love new age music as well as vintage 70's (my era) and contemporary progressive jazz fusion. Favorite books include "Still Alice" "A walk in the woods" "The art of racing in the rain" and anything by David Rosenfelt. Not big on TV but always enjoy "Frasier" or "This is Us". Ashamed to admit it but I have been known to watch "The Bachelor" and although not very cool to admit either, I have followed "General Hospital" for almost 50 years! Movies have to have a real ending and a message with some sort of substance. I like provocative or hearwarming genres best.....hold the graphic violence though.
