ABOUT ME

I'm super curious. About everything. I love to learn about anything and everything and particularly love to hear people's stories. This is part of what drives my passion for travel. I've wwoofed, couchsurfed, traveled, volunteered, and/or hitchhiked in many parts of the western u.s., Hawaii, Ecuador, Italy, Norway, and Belgium, and hope to be ever expanding that list.
I'm currently studying in the field of environmental science though I'm not sure what area I'd like to specialize in yet.
On the weekends, I'm typically out hiking or exploring the spectacular wilderness that is Montana. I don't let having to go alone stop me if no one else can go; sometimes I prefer to adventure alone actually; that's how I tend to meet people!

Hosted and surfed in various countries and have never had a bad experience. In fact I've gained some life-long friends this way!

Books: There are lots to list, but of my favorites would be anything by Tom Robbins, The Prophet, Siddhartha, Dark Matter, any geology book...
Music: LOTS as well! The mood always calls for very different kinds of music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once had to lead two donkeys down a mountain in Ecuador while carrying a machete in order to stock them up with food for the farm where I was staying. I never had to use the machete but I did feel like kind of a badass.
