Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I plan to start travelling more. In general when I do travel I like to know more about the local culture and its people. Staying at a hotel has its benefits but it can cut you off from really experiencing a place. Also ofcourse budget travelling is another reason. I would also like to attend drama workshops abroad so affordable stays are always welcome.
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kinds of music. Depends on my mood. I'm not too keen on Reggae for some reason :) Movies : The usual faves like The Godfather, The Lord of the Rings, Inception.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I once coordinated a project to show 240 children from low income societies to watch their first ever play. It was not an assignment. I was looking for an NGO to support and came across the NGO TEach For India. Those guys are awesome!. Do support them if you can.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a drama teacher. I can conduct informal lessons for a group of individuals. Overall drama and the basics of Improv Comedy. I'd love to learn about local music and other aspects of culture.
My Interests
Love reading, theatre, films, music. I love teaching and at times even on vacation I'd love conduct a workshop for the community or even to earn a few bucks
