I am a visual artist who specializes in photography, timelapse cinematography, & filmmaking.  I've worked extensively in California, Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada, my home. I love to travel and have recently worked on projects in Europe, the Middle East, and New Zealand.

I've always loved the outdoors and had my life changed forever the first time I visited Yosemite when I was 18. Instantly I knew that I'd found my new home, the Sierra Nevada; so majestically represented by one of it's grandest valleys. What a wonderful introduction to "The Range of Light", a place that has touched my heart, inspired me deeply and has opened me to a whole new life.

Living in the Range of Light has brought me a life of exploration, adventure, meditation, capturing moments and creating art. Basking in the glory of these mountains I've developed a deep love for nature and all its subtleties of light, mood, texture, and feeling. Not only have I fallen in love with the natural world and an outdoor lifestyle, but it's heightened my appreciation of beauty in profound ways, and through its unique culture, instilled in me a deep revere for traveling and a profound appreciation of the art of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I was traveling around New Zealand in a CamperVan working on a short timelapse film as a personal project, I used Couchsurfing to meet other travelers to share time with. Now when I am home in California, I love to host people coming to enjoy this beautiful area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never surfed but have met fellow travelers and have hosted many times and I love it. I especially enjoy meeting people from other cultures and people who have a passion for travel and personal growth.
